Bodie Ghost Town
Bodie, the best preserved ghost town in America! This was by far my favorite road trip. In fact, its climbed very high on my all time greatest memory list. It was seriously amazing. Once again, it was a solo trip. After a 6 hr car ride up there, another 45 min off-road excursion, I get there and it starts raining. Most people would view that as a bad thing, me on the other hand, thought it could not have been better. Dark clouds, wet surfaces, all the more interesting that way. =) Then 10 minutes into the shoot it quits raining and a rainbow appears above the town. Absolutely breath taking. The pictures don’t do it justice. So I spend the next 3 hours walking around a ghost town that had literally turned into a ghost town, for everyone had fled from the rain. Like I said, a very memorable trip!
